The scope of this project includes completing a Major Drainageway Plan (MDP) for the City of Englewood. Dewberry is conducting this study in support of the Mile High Flood District (MHFD) and in coordination with the City of Englewood.
The purpose of the Englewood MDP is to identify and resolve deficiencies associated with major drainage, stormwater infrastructure, and flood control management within the City limits. The information that will be gathered from previous studies will be utilized or updated to create new hydrology where needed. The final deliverable will consist of updated hydrology across the limits of Englewood. The ultimate goal of the project is to build upon the recommendations from previous studies and prioritize proposed improvements, which will provide guidance for Englewood as they plan for future implementation and construction.
The Calibre OSP studied 5 major basins: North Englewood, Central Englewood, South-Central Englewood, South Englewood, and Yale Avenue.
The Turner Collie & Braden OSP studied 6 major basins: Bow Mar, Federal Boulevard, Evans Avenue, Northwest Englewood, West Harvard Gulch, and College View.
